Veterans and delegates came together at the Democratic National Convention to push for additional support for military families. While the DNC is underway in Philadelphia, South Carolina delegates are championing a variety of causes, including veteran affairs. SC superdelegate and former chairman of the DNC, Don Fowler also serves as the co-chair of the Veterans and Military Families Council.

PHILADELPHIA – Delegates to the Democratic National Convention are expected to ratify a proposal Monday for a “unity reform commission” to change the superdelegate process. The resolution, which was passed at Saturday’s Rules Committee meeting, was the result of intense negotiations between backers of Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.
